The auction horses are ONLINE: On 3rd November, Dr. Günther Friemel is to wield the auction hammer again, as 41 top up-and-coming jumping horses will be put to auction at the Neumünster Holstenhall.
It is rare for an auction to hold a close relative to a World Champion. At Neumünster, a Centurion-Quick Star son, a half brother to Zeremonie, with Laura Kraut on the US American jumping team taking home team gold at the Tyrion WEG, will be put to auction.
Dr. Jörgen Köhlbrandt and his Holsteiner Verband marketing and auction GmbH team have travelled across Holstein and all of Germany to select them – the lots for the 2018 elite riding horse auction. 41 promising Holsteiners between three and seven years of age have finally made it into the catalogue. The bloodlines are diverse, even though the most frequent sire – Cascadello I - is being represented by seven offspring, ahead of his sire Casall, sending three of his progeny. The stallions Casalito, Cassini I and Uriko have two offspring at auction, each. “We have put together a very good collection this year again, ranging from still inexperienced green horses with exceptional free-jumping ability through youngsters boasting S placings to get up and go“, says executive director Dr. Jörgen Köhlbrandt. “We have a very balanced selection boasting a wide quality basis.”
Chichester by Casall (Alonso Valdez Prado), Camalita by Cracker Jack (Laura Klapphake), Dito by Diarado (Chris Chugg) or Deike by Diarado (Anna Siemer) are just a few of the many former Holsteiner auction horses having embarked on a (inter-)national sport horse career.
