Diarado

Diamant de Semilly — Corrado I

Description of Diarado

Hardly ever in its history, the Holsteiner stallion licensing in Neumünster has seen an equally clear-cut and celebrated champion as in 2007. Diarado’s performance is obvious –winner of the Schlieckau stallion performance test - 150 overall index points, at 4-year-old he won young jumper classes scoring 9.0; at 5-year-old he won the qualifier to the National Championship final scoring 9.0 and 9.3, and placed third in the final scoring 9.0 and at 9-year-old he took 3rd place in the Grand Prix (S***) at the Dobrock horse show, among other achievements. He carries world champion blood on the top of his pedigree, with his sire, Diamant de Semilly, a member of the gold winning French team under Eric Lavallois at the Jerez World Championships in 2002. Diarado’s dam is by Holsteiner jump horse sire, Corrado I, and a full sister to the licensed stallion Crawford. Diarado foals realize top prices, the top-selling lots of the Elmhorn foal auctions in 2011 and 2013 were Diarodo offspring. In 2014, Dito by Diarado was top-selling riding horse at the Neumünster auction. Also in 2015, a Diarado offspring – Dublin – was among the topsellers at the Neumünster Holstenhall. As yet, 7 of his sons have been stallion graded in Holstein – 37 all over Germany. At now 8-year-old, the first Diarado offspring collected first placings in the international youngster tour during the past season. Daniels Jack S is the highest-earning Diarado offspring in Germany, boasting wins in international youngster jumping classes to S* level under Michael Jung. Another offspring, Dialo, convincingly performed in jumping classes to S* level under Hannes Ahlmann. Diarado offspring also were on everbody’s lips at the 2016 National Championships in Warendorf, were DJ won National 5-year-old Jumping Horse Reserve Champion under Teike Carstensen. Holsteiner Verband stallion Dinken, another Diarado son, had an excellent showing season under Jonas Panje and took home the Elmshorn 6-year-old Jumping Horse State Championship. In order to qualify for Holsteiner foal registration papers and Holsteiner thigh branding, the use of Diarado is restricted to the Holsteiner breeding programme where he is exclusively available through the Holsteiner Verband station Hoffeld (Groß Buchwald) in 2017.
