The Holsteiner Horse Days are a highlight on the calendar of breeders and riders alike, hosting the elite mare show as well as the Holsteiner State Championships for dressage and jumping horses.  We have put together the new champions for you:


Landeschampion_7_j_Springpferde_2019_Ekatharina_Casall_MontenderShe had every reason to beam: Zuzana Zelinkova in the saddle of seven-year-old Ekatharina by Casall-Montender (Prof. Dr. Hartwig Schmidt). Once sold through the Glantz & Gloria auction, Ekatharina now returned to Holstein to become State Champion. Congratulations!

 

Landeschampion_6_j_Springpferde_2019_Cortez_CasallMarten Witt definitely put his best foot forward over the weekend as he presented the home-bred horses to the best advantage resulting in many wins and placings as well as two State Champions, one of them being six-year-old Cortez by Casall-Corrado I.

 

Landeschampion_5_j_Springpferde_2019_Claas_ClarconHe was one of the most talked about horses competing in the State Championships: five-year-old Claas by Clarcon-Corrado I, bred by the Witt family and impressively shown by Marten Witt.

 

Landeschampion_4_j_Springpferde_2019She had good reasons to be happy: In superior style, Thea Jelcic rode four-year-old stallion L.B. Dante by Darco de Revel-Casco to win the Holsteiner State Champion title. L.B. Dante was bred by Sven Völz. Congratulations on this success!

Landeschampion_6_j_Dressurpferde_2019San Cloud's Lucky (Han.) by San Amour-Wolkenstein II bred by Helder Carvalho became State Champion of the six-year-old dressage horses. The appealing bay was shown by his owner, Sheeren Giese.

 

Landeschampion_5_j_Dressurpferde_2019_bearb2The Cascadello I offspring (damsire: Ramirado) headed the field of the five-year-old dressage horses under the saddle of his breeder-owner, Sonja Franzenburg-Much.
