After a super exciting jump-off thriller, the US jumping team took gold ahead of the Swedish squad at Tryon. The young German team finished third.
On the American team, Zeremonie by Cero-Quick Star (bred by Hans-Joachim Ahsbahs) performing two clear rounds under the saddle of Laura Kraut, was instrumental for the hosts’ win. Before Sunday’s last individual competition, Zeremonie is on 17th place. Just behind Askari daughter DSP Alice ridden by German rider Simone Blum, Chardonnay by Clarimo-Corrado I (Ernst-Uwe Sachau, Sehestedt) under Max Kühner (Austria) is second individually. Cornet Obolensky son Clooney is on third position with Martin Fuchs (Switzerland). H & M Chilli Willi by Casall-Lord (Peter Diedrichsen, Borgsum/Föhr) and Nicola Philippaerts (Belgium) have also qualified for Sunday’s top 25 final. On 28th position, Zapria by Colman-Landlord (Hans-Peter Petersen, Tating) ridden by Bronislav Chudyba (Slowakia) just missed out on the final.
