Holsteiners top the FN jumping rankings – as to earnings and scores – in the past 2016/17 season.

The highest earning German jumping horse has been L. B. Convall by Colman-Cascavelle (Ernst-Carsten Rolfs, Poppenhusen), winning 807.957 euros under Philip Weishaupt during the past 2016/17 season, followed by Conthendrix by Contendro I-Cor de la Bryère (Hans-Otto Krohn, Marne), ridden by André Thieme at 568.161 euros. Both of the greys collected most of their prize money in North America, L. B. Convall by winning the Calgary grand prix, whereas Conthendrix won, among others, the Saugerties competition.

The Holsteiners have been in front also in terms of scores:  At 53.060 points, Cayenne WZ by Claudio-Ramirado (Adelbert Sporn, Jardelundfeld) ridden by Felix Hassmann is almost 7000 points ahead of last season’s rising star, DSP Alice (Simone Blum). Another Holsteiner, Chiara by Contender-Coronado (Günter Schüder, Bahrenfleth), ridden by Ludger Beerbaum, stood her ground by finishing on 10th position (37.000).
