The weekend brought the Holsteiner breed two medals at the Zangersheide World Young Horse Jumping Championships and two at the German Amateur Show Jumping and Dressage Championships, a first-time event held in Dagobertshausen.

In the five-year-old jumper division, Quiwitino WZ by Quiwi Dream-Caretino (Sören von Rönne, Neuendeich) (cover) and Felix Hassmann lay only two hundredths of a second behind the winning combination, Pippa Goddard (UK) with Chilli by Colestus-Colorit. Calvino by Castelan II-Literat (Hans-Hinrich Hansen, Ottenbüttel) ridden by Angelique Rüsen (cover) took the bronze position.

Dagobertshausen hosted the first-ever German Amateur Championships. Jakob Kock-Evers with Cadeau du Ciel by Corofino II-Acord II (Angela Jansen, Wacken) was crowned the first German Amateur Show Jumping Champion ahead of Petra Rüder in the saddle of Latigo by Lasino-Contender (ZG Lüneburg, Hetlingen).
